Reading it in the middle of the night in a fit of insomnia just how it was written seems like it was the appropriate way to experience it. There’s some really intriguing stuff here but the big reveal kind of falls flat.

Where to start on this one? I get what he was trying to do but the execution didn't work for me and the ending felt stuck on. It read for me like a Choose Your Own Adventure but without with instructions at the bottom of the pages.

On a separate note, reading the essays helped his case only slightly. If your writing can't stand on its own and you have to explain how enlighten you are and others aren't then guess what? You aren't that enlighten. Or humble or what you've convinced yourself. You're just pretentious. I was once told, " you can't make a copy of yourself and send it with each book to explain what people don't get. Your work has to be clear enough and stand on its own." I agree and this is a great example that fact.

Ok, that was quite a ride.

I LOVE this kind of structure. This is just... Wow, it's brilliant. But the story in itself was really weak, IMO. Still, there is a lot of crazy, weird, insane stuff in there. Awesome.

Oh, yeah, it's pretty obvious why this went unreleased, it's way too weird for the range -- but that's why I LIKE it.

I can kinda see why they canceled this. Not a fan of its structure.
