So Ian recaptures Ping-Cho so she can be forced to marry a 75 year old man. There are some performances that would be unacceptable in 2025.

For some reason, I feel there's less filler, or at least what there is isn't quite as noticeable, as in The Daleks. Perhaps it's the travelogue-style journey, but here it feels more organic...

But: Marco and Ping-Cho have slowly become characters I kind of care about.

Yes, Doctor plays a minor character throughout this one it seems. Ian and Susan are almost center stage in every episode.
