How is Tegana still not exposed? 300 miles a day on horseback? I wonder if Carole Ann Ford and Ping-cho's actress got along well? They were (presumably) close in age and had lots of scenes together. Oh no Susan!

We get a proper skirmish in this one! Also, one aspect of this story that strikes me this time around is just how long the road trip really is. Ugh, can't believe that Susan ended up making us go through two more episodes.

DOCTOR: "If you believe that, Polo, you're a bigger fool that even I think you are."
An interesting scene with the bamboo thrown into the fire. I thought it was funny when they would not promise to not try and escape. Okay episode.

I kind of like the fact that Marco Polo is not really a bad guy nor an ally. It's always a good trope to have such a character.
The episode was slightly better than the precedents.
