With the title, I thought it was a take on the Agatha Christie book Ten Little Indians. Thought it was a murder mystery, it was not. Wasnâ€™t crazy about the Space Marines either and they seemed more the main characters instead of the TARDIS crew.

Also, some one really wanted to make a Choose Your Own Adventure book. I love those just not in the middle of another book.

I enjoy a good Aliens-meets-The-Thing story as much as the next guy, but for me the CYOA section came completely out of left field and was rather disorienting. Do I think these worked well in a Doctor Who context? Not particularly.

I can recognise this is well-written, but the space marines thing just does nooooooothing for me. Could-a done without all the body horror, too. CYOA section worked better than I was expecting.
